The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.
SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed with regards to the high amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The assistance level developed for intervention encounters a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your office to attend to all read more people who take a look at a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to enable the servicing of all prospects and enhance use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
